Most questions fall into three buckets: Families & Portraits, Headshots & Branding, and Commercial Photography. I’m based in the Franklin / Williamson County area and shoot throughout Nashville as well.
The basics people want before they reach out.
Where do you shoot?
I’m based in Franklin and work across Williamson County (Brentwood, Arrington, etc.) and Nashville. If you’re outside that area, tell me where and we’ll confirm travel details up front.
How far in advance should I book?
If you have a specific date (birthday, deadline, listing), book early. For commercial and teams, lead time helps, but I can move quickly when needed.
How do you deliver photos?
You’ll receive a private online gallery with clean edits, organized and ready for web, print, or marketing.
Do you share client photos publicly?
Not automatically. Sharing is never assumed — especially for families. If you prefer privacy, it stays private.
Do you offer photo + video?
Yes, when it’s useful. For branding: CEO/founder message and social cuts. For commercial: walkthrough video and B-roll clips.
What’s your editing style?
Clean, true-to-life color with crisp detail. No heavy filters or “trend edits” that look dated fast.
Family portraits, couples, seniors, maternity, milestones, and lifestyle sessions.
What should we wear for a family session?
Keep it simple: solid colors, minimal patterns, and avoid loud logos. Coordinate tones instead of matching outfits. If you want, send options and I’ll tell you what will photograph best.
My kids won’t sit still — is that a problem?
Not at all. I don’t rely on perfect behavior. I use a structured flow first, then capture natural moments. The goal is real, not stiff.
Where are the best locations around Franklin?
It depends on the look: clean fields, wooded trails, or more “city” backgrounds. I’ll recommend a few options based on time of day and the vibe you want.
Do you do newborn sessions?
This brand is focused on families, seniors, and lifestyle portraits — not heavily staged newborn work. (If you’re looking for a very specific newborn style, tell me what you want and I’ll guide you.)
Can we keep our gallery private?
Yes. Privacy is normal. Sharing isn’t required, and I’m not posting families everywhere just to market myself.
How long are sessions usually?
Most family and portrait sessions run 30–60 minutes depending on the group size and goals. We keep it moving and efficient.
Professional identity photography — credibility, confidence, and modern presentation.
I hate getting my photo taken — can you help?
Yes. I give clear direction, keep it moving, and focus on natural expressions. Most people leave saying it was easier than expected.
Studio or on-location?
Studio is clean and consistent. On-location adds context and brand feel. We’ll pick based on what you need the images to do (hiring, listings, website, credibility).
How fast is turnaround?
Fast and consistent. If you have a deadline (job search, hiring push, listing), tell me up front and we’ll plan around it.
Do you retouch heavily?
No. Clean, natural edits — professional without looking fake.
Do you do team / corporate headshots?
Yes. On-site team sessions are a great fit. Consistent lighting across the team, quick flow, minimal disruption.
What video options make sense for branding?
The two most useful are a clean CEO/founder message for a website, and short social cuts from the same session. Practical, not overproduced.
Interiors, products, hospitality, real estate, and content library days.
How do we decide what to shoot?
We start with outcomes: what do you want this content to do? Sell, explain, look credible, support ads, update a site? Then we build a simple shot list and execute efficiently.
Can you shoot while we’re open?
Yes. The goal is minimal disruption. For hospitality and retail, we plan around service flow and prioritize speed.
Do you do real estate photography?
Yes. Clean, accurate interiors delivered fast for listings and web. If it’s a high-end listing, we can expand scope.
Do you offer ongoing / monthly content?
Yes — and it’s usually the best ROI for businesses that post regularly. Consistency beats random one-off content.
What video options make sense for commercial work?
Walkthrough video for spaces and listings, plus B-roll clips for social and ads. Practical footage that supports marketing.
What about licensing / usage rights?
Most small businesses need standard marketing usage (website, social, ads). If you need broader use, we’ll clarify it up front.
